Close Neighbors

This is Close Neighbors from the book ...at the lake by Country Threads. I worked on this top last summer. I am pleased to have finished it. Many years ago when I got this book it was not my favorite pattern. While I love scrappy quilts, I was not crazy about the log cabin blocks that are askew here. It really grew on me because my whole last year has seemed a bit "off" really. I enjoyed paper piecing these log cabin blocks too.

I love how this turned out. Now I just need to find a place to hang it. We can't let those walls get cold now, can we? :) Happy Valentine's Day!
